When I first visited La Pastaria in Sofia years ago to celebrate a birthday of a friend, I really had that kind of feeling like having found a treasure ... obviously not like the treasures left on the desert islands, but a culinary one and combined with such an impeccable service and pleasant family-like atmosphere. Everything here is so delicious, prepared with love and attention to the details.
Since then I have visited many times the 2 restaurants they have currently in Sofia - in Lozenetz and Sopharma Towers and I can actually recommend the first one, because the food and service seem a bit better and it also gives you the feeling like being in some small family owned restaurant in Italy (the one in Sopharma Towers gives you a bit more like a business feeling, probably because of the many business people having their lunch there and the more modern look at the restaurant).
My advice is except the main dishes is to try also their deserts, which are amazing and the wines (they have a great selection of interesting wines and could also recommend one combining well with the food).
